We use SSL/TLS encryption to protect transmitted data. Encrypted connections can be recognized by “https://” and the padlock symbol in the browser.

Payment transactions, where applicable, are also carried out exclusively via encrypted connections.

6. Data Collection on This Website

6.1 Cookies

We use cookies to ensure basic technical functionality.
Session cookies are deleted when the browser closes. Other cookies remain until manually removed.
You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some website functions may then be limited.
Cookies required for technical operation are processed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Cookies for analytics or other purposes are treated separately.

6.2 Server Log Files

Our hosting provider automatically collects:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • Time of server request
  • IP address

These are necessary for technical operation and security. No merging with other data occurs.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6.3 Contact Form

When you submit a contact request, we store the information you provide in order to process your inquiry.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Data is retained until the request is resolved or you request deletion, unless statutory retention periods apply.

6.4 Registration

If you register on our website, we store the data you provide for the purpose of maintaining your account.
Mandatory fields must be completed; otherwise registration cannot be processed.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Data is stored for the duration of your registration and deleted afterward unless legal retention periods apply.

6.5 Comments

When you post a comment, we store:

  • Comment text
  • Timestamp
  • Email address
  • Username (if not anonymous)
  • IP address

IP addresses are stored for security reasons.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Comments remain until the associated content is removed or deletion is legally required.
If you subscribe to comment replies, your email address is used solely for that purpose and can be unsubscribed at any time.

6.6 Contract and Customer Data

We process personal data only to fulfill or prepare a contract.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Data is deleted once the contractual processing is complete and no legal retention obligations remain.

6.7 Data Transfer for Contract Fulfillment

Personal data is shared with third parties only when necessary to carry out a contract—for example with shipping providers or payment processors.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

No data is shared for advertising purposes without explicit consent.

-

7. Analytics WP-Statistics

We use WP-Statistics to analyze website usage.
The tool processes anonymized data locally on our server, without sending it to third parties.
An opt-out cookie will store your preference for one year. If you clear your cookies, you will need to opt out again.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website optimization).

-

8. Newsletter

To receive our newsletter, we need your email address and your confirmation that you agree to receive it.
We use this data exclusively to send the newsletter.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email. Unsubscribing removes all newsletter-related data unless it is used for other purposes (e.g., account information).

We use Google Web Fonts to ensure consistent display of text.
Your browser must connect to Google's servers to load these fonts, which exposes your IP address.

Legal basis:

If your browser blocks Web Fonts, a standard system font is used instead.

Google may link this data to your Google account if you are logged in.
If you want to avoid this, log out of Google before using the map.
Google may create user profiles for advertising or analytics. You must direct any objection to Google.
